Naanded Express Train accident; 23 dead

Naanded Bangalore Express caught fire at Kotha Cheruvu Railway Station, Anantapur in the early hours of Saturday. 23 people are feared dead and five people are injured in this accident. Primary investigation revealed that Short circuit is the reason for this accident. Few passengers pulled the emergency chain when this accident happened and saved their lives by jumping off the train.

The passengers list with the TC destroyed in the accident so it is becoming difficult to identify the dead people identity. Currently five dead people are identified. People in the AC bogie are affected most. Affected people are Kannadigas. The local Police and other machinery are involved in the relief measures.
