Naga Babu Calls for a Ban, but They Disagree

Mega Brother Nagendra Babu, who is partly active in Janasena politics, made a post on social media suggesting that social media should be banned for people aged 16 and under.

He also cited an example where the Australian government successfully implemented this policy and argued that it should be adopted everywhere.

He referenced a popular Telugu adage, Mokkai vangandi, maanai vonguthunda, and mentioned how social media has been influencing many kids.

This sparked questions from a section of social media users, who raised logical concerns about his proposal.

One netizen asked Naga Babu, “Is the Jabardasth you promoted a kids’ show? It’s an adult show with double meaning jokes aired during prime time on TV. I had to cancel my connection because I couldn’t stop my kids from watching those senseless shows.”

As often happens with politicians, it’s hard to preach without facing immediate scrutiny, as social media users quickly respond with pointed questions.
