Naidu announces Modi’s Cabinet Expansion

Going by the latest buzz in the National capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for his first cabinet expansion. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed it to media in Delhi.

There are rumors that TDP is likely to get a Minister of State portfolio with Independent Charge which is almost equal to a cabinet. In all probability, Sujana Chowdary may bag it. If one more MOS is offered, then names like Nimmala Kishtappa and Konakalla Narayana may crop up due to their seniority. If Chandrababu wants to allot it to Telangana then his trusted lieutenant Garikapati Mohan Rao will be the frontrunner. There are also indications that Bandaru Dattareya, Senior BJP leader will get a chance in this expansion. If he gets one, he will be the sole representation from Telangana in the Union cabinet. Going by the rumors, the cabinet expansion is likely to take place this Sunday.
