Naidu can work under trees, not his staff!

Andhra Pradesh government had scrapped the idea of the Temporary Capital for at least four years. While the Chief Minister maintains that he is ready to work even under the trees, the employees are not ready for that.

Government also feels that forcing employees to the capital region without providing proper office space and residential quarters might prove to be counter productive which may even lower the Work efficiency.

Satya Vani Projects and Consultants Private Limited (SVPCPL), which had bagged the contract to prepare the master plan and design the temporary capital was asked not to begin the work until it gets a nod from the government. Sources say the government is likely to scrape the contract very soon. However the state government is planning to move some of the crucial departments to AP so that people need not come all the way to Hyderabad to get their works done.
