Naidu ends McKinsey’s honeymoon in AP!

McKinsey, a global management consulting firm which earlier prepared Chandrababu’s Vision 2020 document has offered free consultancy services to Andhra Pradesh government for the upcoming capital of the state. The company in the role of consultant helped the CM to understand the concept of a world class capital by making a video presentation of models and concepts of nearly a dozen cities.

Opposition parties alleged that Naidu was doing some undue favours to the firm and said they will for sure get the job of designing the master plan for the capital, given its association with Mr Naidu’s government in undivided AP before 2004. However in an interesting move, Naidu has terminated their free stint and assigned the Master plan work to Singapore government who offered Free Master Plan.

The government also clarified that the project advisory and management consultants for the AP government to build the capital will also be choosen only through open tenders.
