Naidu inspired from KCR’s Most criticized idea?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is planning a micro level social survey in the state. This survey is intended to make sure that various welfare programs taken up by the state government should reach to all the communities according to their population and financial condition.

This survey may have to reach out to every one in the state and study their living conditions just as in the case of KCR’s complete family survey in Telangana which happened initially after coming to power. KCR back then got the state to a stand still for one complete day to finish this survey.

But later there is severe criticism on the survey that it is a complete waste of time and resources as there are no instances of the state government using the data any where. We will have to see if Naidu’s survey will be anything different. This idea of the survey in AP is at very early stage and the model of it will be announced very soon.
