Naidu Taking Unnecessary Risk with KCR?

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governments are in talks with each other for resolving border issues by exchanging five villages from each side. Some Bord issues have arisen between the states after Seven Mandals of Khammam district were added to Andhra Pradesh to facilitate Polavaram Project Construction.

AP will give back five villages of Bhadrachalam to Telangana while it will get five villages from Aswaraopeta Mandal. East Godavari will be losing five villages and West Godavari will gain five. But then, TDP supporters are worried about this deal.

KCR is currently at the pinnacle of his popularity and media management. It is highly probable that Telangana government may showcase this as the success of the government which will backfire on TDP politically in Andhra Pradesh.

On the other side, TDP’s Turmoil is such that it does not have strong voices to defend itself even when the party is on a high ground. So, the party supporters are worried if this step ahead of the 2019 elections will backfire on the government and the party.
