Naidu to do hi-tech household survey

Chandrababu Naidu is planning a survey to lessen the burden of bogus beneficiaries of government schemes just like his Telangana counterpart KCR did with Intensive household survey.

Chandrababu intelligently noted most difficulties encountered during the survey and found out usage of papers for the survey further created the problems of data entry. The surveyors will be equipped with tablets when they visit every household and the data is entered there in itself and will go to the central database right away.

The revenue department of every district will conduct the survey and as well as cross-verify records by supervisory staff of the revenue department. The government is planning to call a bidding for enterprise architect for the technological support of the survey. The idea of the survey is to capture all the socio-economic details of the citizens like ownership of housing, vehicle, land and livestock, educational and employment status, driving license number, number of people in a family and disability.
