Naidu to test IAS officers on monthly basis!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is proving to be ‘Hard Task Master’ for the IAS officers working in various departments of the government. The CMO recently sent a circular to all the departments that they should submit monthly reports of their performances by 5th of every month.

The reports will be first sent to the concerned Minister and up on his approval, the report will be forwarded to the Chief Minister’s Office and the Chief Secretary. The report is a one-page executive summary, performance targets, significant achievements of the month, primarily goal-oriented and essential process parameters, any important decisions needed and status of works instructed by the Chief Minister.

The CM is expected to review all these reports personally and make transfers accordingly. The non performing officers will always find themselves in non important departments. Officers are currently very tensed as they gear up to submit their first report by January 5th.
