Naidu to woo Obama on Republic Day Meet

Presence of mind and to be the forerunner for every opportunity coming his way seems to be the order of the day for AP Naidu since long. He never misses any opportunity that would be helpful for the development of the State and if US President Barack Obama is going to be in India for Republic Day celebrations, can we expect Chandrababu Naidu missing the opportunity? No way.

Coming to the point, Obama is going to grace the celebrations as chief guest on 26th january 2015. Naidu wants to meet Obama in Delhi when he is in India and hence preliminary work to make this possible is underway between AP government and US officials. As Washington and New Delhi are going to sign an agreement to develop three smart cities in India and Vizag being one of them, is the pre-scenario for this meet.

Besides three smart cities, US is going to jointly develop 100 more cities in India for which Naidu’s attempt is to make 42 cities of AP include under the joint development programme. It is common sense to understand that meeting with Obama would certainly boost the image of AP CM who is already carving Brand AP image and standing apart from rest of the CMs of the country. In 2000 it was Bill Clinton and in 2015 it would be Barack Obama who is going to help AP and the CM big way in his development dreams.
