Bluff Is Fine, Will Jagan Learn the Lesson?

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has responded about Nandhyal By-Election in which YSR Congress lost by a sensational 27,456 margin. Jagan, however, talked in the tone expected from every losing party. He blamed TDP for misusing government machinery and resort to money politics.

He even tried to put up a brave face saying that he will take it as a referendum only if all the defected MLAs resign and manage to win the by-election. But the fact is that YSR Congress will shiver at that very thought and if that happens now, the Opposition party may not even find candidates to field.

Political Experts say that Jagan is just bluffing now and will have to introspect about this defeat. His radical comments to shoot and hang Chandrababu played a crucial role in this election. A flawed strategy only worsened things for Jagan. Will he learn a lesson at least now? is the big question.
