Nandhyala – a Calculative Risk for Jagan

Neither Jagan Mohan Reddy nor YSR Congress has tasted any success since 2014 elections. They are pinning all their hopes on Nandhyala By-election to turn the tables in favor of them. YSR Congress is giving it’s 100% for the election which may happen anytime in the next couple of months.

If YSR Congress wins the election, it will work as a big boost for the party in the run up to 2019 elections. But then, the party leaders say they can not imagine the consequences in case of a loss which will completely demoralize the cadre and leaders.

The by-election is necessitated due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. On Paper, Nandhyala is favorable to YSR Congress but the party will fight the sympathy wave and also a strong ruling party. Nandhyala is a calculative risk taken by Jagan.
