Nandigam Suresh Denied Bail in Assault Case

The in-charge justice of Guntur second additional district court refused to give bail to Bapatla ex MP Nandigam Suresh in attempt to murder case.

According to the prosecution, Nandigam Suresh along with his followers attacked TDP worker Isukapally Krishna in Uddandarayunipalem on May 17, and hurt him severely.

The victim was admitted to AIIMS and later the Tullur police registered a case against Suresh. An attempt of murder case was registered against him. He was presented before the Court after arrest. It is known that Suresh was given for remand.

Suresh applied for bail. His co-accused, wife Babylatha and brother Venkat applied for anticipatory bail in the case. As the case was in initial stages, the Court refused bail to Suresh and Venkat.

However, his wife Babylatha was given anticipatory bail with conditions. The Court directed Babylatha to cooperate with the police till a chargesheet is filed.
