Chandrababu Failing To Handle Ganta?

Ganta Srinivasa Rao who enjoyed utmost power during the TDP Government always maintained a distance from the party after the defeat in 2019.

There were speculations that Ganta will defect to the ruling party or the BJP but that did not happen.

At times he stays away from TDP and sometimes, he participates in party activities. The party cadre itself is confused if Ganta is in the party or not.

Three days ago, Chandrababu Naidu attended the Birthday celebrations of Ganta’s grandson.

Ganta posted pictures of the event on Twitter and addressed Chandrababu as Anna. The party hoped that he will fall in line once again.

But then, the Vishakapatnam North MLA skipped Chandrababu’s Anakapalle visit.

Ganta has been an MLA and the MP from Anakapalle region

The high headedness even towards the party leadership is something the cadre can not digest.

They are of the opinion that Chandrababu is taking a lenient view on Ganta and it can prove to be costly with elections fast approaching.

“Chandrababu should speak to Ganta and get clarity about his future plans. If needed, an incharge should be appointed for Vishakapatnam North before it gets too delayed,” they say.
