Nara Family begins adoptions for Smart Villages

Nara Family begins the adoption of villages to develop them as ‘Smart Villages’ planned by Andhra Pradesh government. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari adopted Kommaravolu, the native village of Late NTR’s wife, Basavatarakam while Lokesh took up the responsibility of NTR’s native, Nimmakuru.

Chandrababu’s daughter-in-law (Balakrishna’s daughter), Brahmani adopted Chandrababu’s Native village, Naravaripalle in Chittoor district. Chandrababu Naidu will be taking up a 18Km Padayatra tomorrow from Velivennu village of West Godavari to launch the Smart Village and Smart Ward Program of his government.

He already urged the elite, political and business class to adopt one ward or village and develop them as Smart Ward or Smart Village. More than 16000 villages in the state are up for adoption in this scheme.
