The counting of the Andhra Pradesh general elections is currently underway and the alliance of TDP, JSP and BJP are sweeping most of the seats.
While the alliance is leading in over 145 seats, YCP is ahead in just 25 seats. The same is the case with the Lok Sabha elections as well. While the alliance is leading in 19 seats, YCP is leading in just six seats.
Meanwhile, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh is heading towards a massive victory in the Mangalagiri constituency.
He lost the same seat in 2019 by just over 5000 votes. Now, after the two rounds are completed, he is leading with a majority of over 8411 votes against YCP candidate Lavanya.
There are a total of 22 rounds for this constituency and going by the current trend, it is expected that Lokesh may win with a majority of over 50,000 votes.
After losing Mangalagiri last time, Lokesh didn’t leave the constituency. Instead, he became a support pillar for the people over there for the last five years and fought for them. All his hard work is paying now in a big way.
