
AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh who is touring Singapore, met up with Microsoft executives. He requested them to set up Microsoft Experiential Zone to find solutions and integrate them through generative AI.
He asked the Microsoft representatives to conduct a hackathon in 2026 in Amaravati Quantum Valley Tech Park using Azure Open AI Service and Microsoft Copilot under the supervision of Microsoft Experiential Zone. He assured that the AP government would provide the necessary facilities. Lokesh toured the Microsoft Experiential Center in Singapore.
During his chat with Microsoft executives, Lokesh shared that AP had one of the best IT talent pools in India. He pointed out that 25% of the IT workforce in the US are Telugu people. By partnering with the AP government, Microsoft Experiential Zone must use the talent pool in AP to produce workforce that is good at generative AI, hybrid cloud and Microsoft products, said Lokesh.
Following that, Lokesh and his team Infeneon Semiconductors Manufacturing Unit. Lokesh met up with the top executives of the company. He requested them to set up EMCs and set up a packaging and testing unit along with manufacturing semiconductors in industrial parks.
Lokesh shared that AP was giving huge incentives for EV manufacturing units.
