Lokesh Brings A Positive Change In Naming Culture

Naming Welfare Schemes after Politicians and the names getting changed with every government has become a norm in the Telugu States.

Jagan Mohan Reddy took it to the next level during his tenure by changing the names of legends like Abdul Kalam.

Minister Nara Lokesh brought a Positive Change by deciding not to name the schemes of his portfolios with current leaders.

Jagananna Amma Vodi has been renamed as Thalliki Vandhanam. Jagananna Vidya Kanuka will now be called as Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Vidyardhi Mitra.

Jagananna Gorumudda is now Dokka Sitamma Madhyahna Badi Bhojanam.

Government Awards to the Meritorious Students were previously named after APJ Abdul Kalam. Jagan changed it to his name ‘Jagananna Animuthyalu’. Lokesh reversed back the name to Abdul Kalam Prathiba Puraskaram.

It is a positive change to respect Legends like Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Dokka Seethamma, and Abdul Kalam by naming schemes after them. This is a way that their services to mankind are reminded to the future generations.

Hopefully, this culture will stay forever in Andhra Pradesh.
