Nara Lokesh Calls CBN ‘CEO CM’

Andhra Pradesh has bagged $4 trillion green investments in 8 months from national and international companies. Integrated Clean Energy Policy initiated by the state government under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu to make the state a green energy hub, has helped AP secure investments.

Launched in 2024, the policy speeded up the process of clearances and brought in fresh revenues. After being voted to power in 2024, CM Chandrababu Naidu popular as ‘CEO CM’ is transforming AP into a RE (renewable energy) hub, leaving behind competitors like Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Karnataka.

IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh feels Babu with his Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 is betting big on renewable energy and his work ethics and discipline have helped the state secure projects.

AP has good resources and a CM who can foresee the future. A man who not only strikes deals but ensures speed of doing business to capture the market.

The CM who works like a CEO understands where and how to get revenues for the progress of the state while keeping in view the state’s and country’s decarbonisation efforts.

So what makes Andhra Pradesh a favourable destination? Well, according to Central Electricity Authority roadmap, of the 500 gigawatt (GW) capacity from non-fossil fuel resources by 2030, 86 RE potential is in south India. Of this, 51 GW has been identified in AP.

In that, Anantapur has 20 GW capacity, Kurnool has 23 GW and Kadapa has 8GW.

The new policy formulated by Babu and his team has strict time-lines for implementation, 24-month execution deadlines, high net worth criteria and focus on energy export.

AP has also laid down ‘operational guidelines’ for receipt of all necessary approvals.

The new policy helps in seamless development of business and makes AP an attractive place to put monies in. Of course, brand Chandrababu is all about trust and timely deliverables.
