AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh is not just speaking about the “speed of doing business”, he is acting on it. His target is clear. Andhra Pradesh is expected to move toward becoming a $1 trillion economy within five years under this aggressive push.
Lokesh and CM Chandrababu have taken this drive overseas to attract investments into Andhra Pradesh. Starting from Davos, the tour follows a “mission possible” approach. The focus remains on drawing both international corporations and Indian companies into the state.
Lokesh will travel to Dallas and other US states from December 6 to 9. Meetings are planned with Telugu NRIs and top American industrialists. These discussions aim to convert interest into concrete investment activity.
After the US tour, Lokesh will reach Canada on December 11 and 12. CM’s secretary Kartikeya Mishra and APIIC MD Abhishikt Kishore will accompany him. The team will meet industrialists and outline incentive policies for Andhra Pradesh.
The IT Minister has prioritised future-focused investments. Technology, renewable energy, and fintech dominate the agenda. The broader aim is to shape Andhra Pradesh as a modern economic hub driven by innovation and infrastructure.
