Lokesh Promise Kept: 16 Cr Injection Saves Child!

The responsibility of the government is to place particular emphasis on the poor and needy. Any government or leader who caters to this section of the population is going to be remembered for ages.

Nara Lokesh has now made a pretty big leap in this capacity as he has facilitated a massive crowd funding campaign to save the life of a girl child who had been suffering from a rare medical condition.

Punarvika, a 11-month old girl child from Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh had been suffering from a rare genetic condition where she is born with a faulty genes. She required a Zolgensma injection that costs around Rs 16 crore which is very much out of reach for the poor family.

This was when Lokesh stepped in and called for a crowd funding campaign, while the rest of the money would be accumulated by the government at an official capacity. The crowd funding campaign happened for a couple of months, and now the government has stepped into action and completed the procedure.

Lokesh has announced that the medical procedure has been completed and the young Punarvika has received the costly injection that would save her life. This is going to be one of the hallmark mass outreach activities by Lokesh as a leader and the AP government as an entity.
