Already, a few of the promises made during the Yuva Galam Pada Yatra have been fulfilled. Recently, he fulfilled another promise and took to social media to share the news.

The state government has increased the aid for “Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyalu” (incense, lamps and prasad) in temples from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10,000. This initiative will benefit 5400 small temples across the state.

Lokesh said that during the Pada Yatra, Brahmins brought to his attention that it is difficult to offer Dhoopa Deepa Naivedya in remote and small temples where there is no income.

“As per the word given to them on that day, the aid for the offering Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyalu was increased to Rs.10,000. This will enable 5,400 small temples across the state to conduct their rituals without any obstacles. We are a supportive government that prioritizes the welfare of all,” Lokesh wrote.
