Nara Lokesh, IT and HRD Minister, had a face to face interaction with students of Rajahmundry Arts College in East Godavari. He later addressed the gathering and shared practical life lessons. Students responded with keen interest.
Lokesh recalled his early days in politics when he faced trolling and memes on social media. He said he chose not to waste energy on negativity. Instead, he focused on moving forward, which drew cheers from students.
He spoke about winning from Mangalagiri, which he described as a tough seat for Telugu Desam Party at the time. Though he lost his first election, he said persistence helped him succeed later.
Lokesh advised students not to give in to life’s pressures. He said every challenge should be faced with a positive attitude. Taking a step backwards, he warned, can take years to correct. His message focused on resilience and discipline.
He also urged students to stay connected with their families. He asked them not to take any major decision without informing their parents. He specifically stressed the importance of keeping their mothers informed about everything.
On the administrative front, Lokesh said he was implementing promises made during Yuva Galam. He отменated the earlier rule requiring educational institutions to obtain fire department NOCs every year.
He issued fresh orders stating that institutions with buildings taller than 30 metres need to renew fire department NOCs once every five years. This decision eased regulations introduced during the YSR Congress Party government.
