Following Kodela’s death, there was a period of silence within the TDP regarding the Sattenapalli Assembly seat. During this time, Kodela’s son, Sivaram, and another TDP leader, Mannem Sivanagamalleswara Rao, both vied for the Sattenapalli ticket. About a year after his father’s passing, Kodela Sivaram initiated efforts to secure the TDP ticket for Sattenapalli. He organized events to unveil a statue of his father in the constituency. However, the entry of Kanna into the TDP changed the dynamics and dashed the hopes of other contenders within the party.
Sivaram openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the party’s decision to award the Sattenapalli ticket to Kanna Lakshmi Narayana. In response, TDP leader Acchenaidu tried to reconcile with Kodela Sivaram through various means. Sivaram has remained silent in recent days.
Notably, Kodela Sivaram was present at Lokesh’s “Yuvagalam” event. Before Lokesh’s padayatra entered Sattenapalli, he had conversations over the phone with both Sivaram and Nagamalleswara Rao. When Lokesh entered Sattenapalli, all TDP leaders, including Kanna, Kodela, and Mannem, extended a warm welcome to him.
During this occasion, Lokesh praised Kodela Siva Prasad for the development in the constituency. Photo of Lokesh is walking alongwith Kanna and Kodela is viral in Social Media. These efforts were aimed at fostering coordination among TDP leaders in the Sattenapalli segment.
