Of late, many innocent Indians have been cheated by fraud agents who promise overseas jobs but make immigrants suffer once they arrive. Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh has been helping many of these immigrants in trouble.
Recently, a victim was brought back safely from the Arab region, and now another person has successfully returned home, thanks to Lokesh’s help.
A few days ago, a man named Sarella Veerendra Kumar posted a video on social media showcasing his hardships in Saudi Arabia.
He said he paid Rs. 1.7 lakh to an agent for a job in Qatar. He landed in Qatar on July 10 but was immediately taken to a desert in Saudi Arabia on July 11.
He had no water or proper shelter in the desert. His video explaining his suffering went viral and eventually reached Lokesh.
Lokesh promised to bring Veerendra back safely and dered the TDP’s NRI wing in Saudi Arabia to take necessary action to rescue him.
Veerendra was finally brought back to India today. He arrived at Shamshabad Airport during the early hours of Friday.
His family and friends welcomed him at the airport. He has gone back to his hometown Isukapudi in East Godavari district. Veerendra thanked Lokesh and the TDP NRI wing for rescuing him from Saudi Arabia.
