Nara Lokesh Signs Insurance MoU for 1 Crore Cadre

Minister and TDP party national secretary Nara Lokesh has signed an MoU towards providing insurance to 1 crore TDP workers. Providing cover to 1 crore workers at one go is the first time ever a party has taken such a step.

The insurance cover will be available starting Jan 1, 2025. An agreement has been reached to this end with United India Company.
The MoU was signed at his Undavalli residence.

The workers will be eligible for accident cover following this MoU. TDP has shelled out Rs 42 crore in the first phase for the period between Jan 1, 2025 and Dec 31, 2025 for 1 crore party workers.

As per the MoU, the TDP workers can avail Rs 5 lakh for accident cover.

Ever since Nara Lokesh has taken the role as the coordinator for party’s welfare fund, he has doled out various benefits for party workers. He has been working relentlessly for them by coming up with innovative schemes.

Till date, he spent Rs 138 crore for their aid. Lokesh also set up a legal cell to help cadre entangled in legal cases during the past government’s regime.

Another cell has been started to aid cadre that met with accidents. Lokesh has also ensured that the children of deceased party workers’ children get admission into residential schools in Hyderabad and in Krishna district’s Challapalli.
