Nara Lokesh slowly winning cadre’s mandate!

TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s only son, Nara Lokesh proving to be different than other political scions. The young lad was not acceptable as Chandrababu’s replacement until few months ago. Due to the differences with Junior NTR, many saw him as a villain and incompetent. Many draw parallels between him and Rahul Gandhi who failed Congress in all fronts.

However Lokesh chose another route. He surprised every one by not contesting 2014 elections and started working for the TDP Cadre welfare fund. He made a significant effect on the party cadre by introducing several schemes like free insurance, various discounts etc. The Membership drive this year in Andhra Pradesh led by Lokesh is one of the biggest success over the years since TDP’s inception.

Now Lokesh is introducing a dedicated call center which will address the various greviances of the party workers. Political analysts are of the opinion that Lokesh successfully won the cadre’s mandate and in the next four years will try to get universal mandate. We may not be surprised to see Lokesh leading TDP in 2024!
