IT and HRD minister Nara Lokesh will be meeting Union Minister for IT, Railways, Electronics, Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday.
Lokesh will be flying to Delhi at 2 pm and his meeting is scheduled for 5.45 pm. He will be back the same night.
So what is on the agenda of the young leader? Since Andhra Pradesh is investing big on Artificial Intelligence (AI), he will be discussing about establishing an Artificial Intelligence University in Vizag.
The government of AP is in plans to start 3 Artificial Centers of Excellence, the state IT minister will be discussing the same with the Union Minister.
The Centers will focus on Artificial Intelligence and new innovations in the domain. Lokesh will be requesting help from the Centre regarding the same.
It is Nara Lokesh’s vision to make Vizag the IT and AI capital of Andhra Pradesh in the coming days. In a recent update, the AP government has announced the development of a Data City in Madhurawada, Vizag, that will promote data centers, AI and emerging tech solutions.
The project will be headed by Nara Lokesh who has been interacting with various leaders on a global platform. The IT minister aims to make Vizag a technology powerhouse.
The interaction with Ashwini Vaishnaw is crucial in this backdrop.
