Lokesh was in Vizag for the hearing on defamation case against Sakshi. In 2019, Sakshi had written disparaging stories against Lokesh, following which Lokesh had filed defamation case against Sakshi.
Lokesh told media that the paper is used to writing fake stories and trying to show it as reality. The HRD minister said he had been fighting the case for the past five years.
He said it was the fourth hearing. He added the truth was on his side. Lokesh emphasized that he will come as many times as it takes. He said the truth will win finally, even if it takes time.
Even today when I have come as a minister, I have slept in a bus in the party office and eaten with my own money, Lokesh told media.
I didn’t take even a water bottle from the government. I have come in my own vehicle buying my own diesel, he further added.
His mother Bhuvaneswari taught him to never use government’s money since childhood, Lokesh told the scribes.
The past government had piled up loans upto Rs 3000 crores. We are repaying it slowly. I will work day and night in any post given to me by party chief Chandrababu Naidu. I will make sure the party does not get a bad name because of me, said Lokesh.
