Nara Lokesh was in Hyderabad to pay respects to his grandfather-great leader NTR at NTR Ghat on the later’s death anniversary.
The HRD Minister of AP expressed his displeasure with regards to the way NTR Ghat was being maintained.
Lokesh noticed that the ceiling, walls had paint coming off and lights in the garden were broken.
An emotional Lokesh immediately declared that he will get the repair work done with his personal money.
He gave orders to his staff to take the necessary permissions and get started on the job immediately. The TDP cadre too vented their anger over HMDA’s maintenance.
Lokesh shared that they had requested the earlier Telangana government to give the maintenance duties to NTR Trust several times.
