Lokesh Calls For Selfies to Flaunt Free Bus

On the 79th Independence Day, the Andhra Pradesh government launched the free bus service for women, which is one of the Super Six guarantees promised by the alliance government. Nara Lokesh urged women to celebrate the scheme with selfies to highlight empowerment.

Visuals of Lokesh, Chandrababu, and Pawan Kalyan traveling on a bus with women quickly went viral across social media on Friday. A video showing Lokesh paying for tickets, even as Pawan Kalyan offered to pay, also won appreciation from his followers online.

On Saturday, Lokesh posted on X to share his views about the initiative. He stated that the free bus ticket is a mark of trust and represents mobility, independence, and equal opportunity. According to him, it is not just a journey but also a movement symbolising equality.

He added that the scheme has empowered women through Stree Shakti. Lokesh called on women to join the campaign by taking a selfie with #Freebusticketselfie and showing the world how real empowerment looks through this initiative.
