Lokesh’s Nomination: Follows Kuppam Sentiment

The nomination process for the upcoming general elections has started in Andhra Pradesh. Generally, TDP leaders file the nomination on behalf of Nara Chandrababu Naidu in his Kuppam constituency.

Now, his son Nara Lokesh, has repeated the same Kuppam sentiment. It is already known that Lokesh is contesting from Mangalagiri constituency.

Local leaders from TDP, JSP and BJP, belonging to various communities, have filed the nomination in Mangalagiri this afternoon, on behalf of Lokesh.

Reportedly, around 10000 people participated in the nomination rally. The leaders made huge arrangements for the nomination event. In the morning, the alliance leaders performed puja for the nomination papers at Sri Seetha Rama Temple in Mangalagiri.

Afterwards, prayers from various religions were conducted outside the temple, seeking Lokesh’s victory. Following this, leaders commenced a large rally starting from the temple.

The rally proceeded to Midde centre, Vaishnavi Kalyana Mandapam, Old Bus Stand and finally reached the Mangalagiri-Tadepalli Municipal Corporation office. The alliance leaders submitted two sets of nomination papers to the concerned officials at the municipal office.

Lokesh is competing against YSRCP’s Murugudu Lavanya for the Mangalagiri seat. The polling will be held on May 13 and the results will be declared on June 4.
