Modi – Shah Mulling Snap Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again proved that he is the most charismatic leader in Independent India. Maybe India has last seen such leader in Indira Gandhi. The recent massive victory in Uttar Pradesh is the testimony of Modi’s popularity.

With such massive mandate, Modi may well consider going to the polls as early as in 2018. Facing election when the wave is on will make things easy for BJP to win the next elections. Opposition in the country is totally unprepared and is in utter dismay.

This will come as a huge bonus for BJP. But then, it has to be seen if allies of BJP are ready for early elections. Probably, Amit Shah will start talking to the allies on this issue very soon and is likely to take a final decision on the early polls.
