Modi and Shah Walked Along with Vajpayee in His Final Journey

Mexican Wave of People descended to pay their final respects to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away the other day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah walked along with the Mortal Remains of Vajpayee.

Modi kept aside the Protocol and participated in the final journey. Some Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, and other Senior Leader also walked all along the journey remembering their favorite leader bidding teary farewell. People thronged in huge numbers all along the way to have a final glimpse.

Vajpayee was accorded State Honours. His adopted daughter, Namitha fired the pyre. Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have attended the final rites on the behalf of the Congress Party.
