Narendra Modi not coming to Godavari Pushkaralu!

Andhra Pradesh government has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu in the state. AP CM Chandrababu personally went to Delhi and invited the Prime Minister. However it is learnt that the Prime Minister is not coming as he will be in Russia tour at the same time.

Narendra Modi is yet to come to Andhra Pradesh after the 2014 elections except for that whirlwind tour during Hudhud Cyclone. The state government has invited all Union Ministers, Supreme Court judges and all the Chief Ministers of other states to his grand event. The Prime Minister may come down to AP for laying foundation stone of the state capital.

Godavari gets Pushkaralu for every twelve years. This is Mahapushkaram which comes for every twelve Pushkarams which means a Mahapushkaram comes for 144 years. The state government is making huge arrangements. National Geographic channel will be making a special documentary on the event and will telecast it across the globe.
