Nation Rallying After Modi – Will He Maintain?

It is more than three months since Narendra Modi has announced the decision of Demonetization. The decision has paralyzed the public life for months together and pegged back the economy. Only now, the things are limping back to normal now. No one really knows what the country gained from the Demonetization.

The government and RBI are still silent about the monetary gains of this drive hinting that the gains may not be on expected lines. Usually, when such chaos takes place, people panic and resort to rioting. But then people have placed their trust on Modi and ensured that they are patient even in those difficult times.

There are eight different elections that happened in the country after Demonetization. Local body elections in Chandigarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Faridabad, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Maharastra happened along with elections for Three seats in Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Parishad happened.

In all the elections, BJP scored a maximum number of seats while in Odisha it registered drastic improvement. That indicates that the nation is rallying behind and his approval ratings are at all-time high. If he maintains that, 2019 will be a cakewalk.
