National Media: Naidu to Dissolve AP Assembly

Republic TV aired a Sensational Report a little while ago claiming that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is all set to dissolve the state Assembly in a week’s time and is keen on clubbing the state polls with Telangana.

Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh – All BJP-Ruled States are due for elections soon, and now if Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu dissolves the assembly there could be elections in five states instead of three in the next few months.

K Chandrasekhara Rao dissolved the State Assembly on 6th of this month and had announced 105 of 119 assembly candidates from his TRS party. The elections Preparation are going on at a brisk pace. But then, Chandrababu Naidu has been denying any such possibility until now.

Interestingly, there is no sniff about AP Assembly dissolution in the regional media. Further, Republic TV is popularly known as the Pet Media of BJP. It has to be seen if this report has to do anything with the strategy of the BJP high command.
