Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav successfully brought up the idea of Mahakutami in Bihar and managed to stop Saffron Wave there. Lalu is planning a similar stage at the National Front, two years ahead of the General Elections.

Narendra Modi’s BJP just looks unstoppable and there are no doubts whatsoever after the sensational victory in Uttar Pradesh, Modi is running for another term in the office probably with better majority than what he got in 2014 Elections.

Opposition Parties are of the opinion that Modi wave should be stopped somehow or they have to perish themselves. Mahakutami seems to be the final frontier in that direction. But then, putting up a common Prime Minister will be the biggest challenge for the front.

Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi can not be a choice since it will give a UPA feel to the front. The front which will be full of PM Aspirants will be very tough to form. Even if they unite, it will be very tough for them to shred their past image and convince the people to vote them.
