New 2000 Rupees Notes Recovered from Terrorists

Army Recovered the new 2000 rupees notes with the terrorists at after the encounter today at Bandipora, Jammu Kashmir. There was an exchange of firing between militants who went underground and the Army. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter.

Finding 2000 notes with these terrorists is a stroke, as one of the main targets of demonetization is to terminate the funding of terrorists. But now terrorists have got the brand new currency enough where the common man is still struggling to earn the same.

PM Narendra Modi mentioned that this bold step of demonetization was taken targeting Corruption, Black money, fake currency and the funding of terrorism. With this incident, the motto of demonetization doesn’t seem to be fruitful.
