New BJP President, New Headaches!

AP BJP has been one of the most non-productive state units of the Ruling Party in the country.

Probably, it is the only state unit that registered any progress even in the Modi era. Even the BJP in Tamil Nadu registered some progress since 2014.

The party will be a dud if not for alliances.

Thanks to the alliance in 2024, it has one cabinet minister, eight MLAs, three Lok Sabha MPs, and two Rajya Sabha MPs.

The party has announced a new President, PVN Madhav as the State Unit President.

Madhav was expected to strengthen the party in Andhra Pradesh but is already proving to be a burden.

On the first day of taking charge, Madhav demanded renaming the Popular Lenin Center of Vijayawada.

BJP, for some reason, is after this name changing culture everywhere in the country.

But people of Andhra Pradesh are never moved due to such outdated ideas. So, this demand has done more bad than good for the BJP.

People are discussing if BJP could not get better ideas and issues.

And the other day, Madhav met Minister Nara Lokesh and gifted him a huge map.

It is the Cultural Heritage Map of India but the map did not have Telangana.

BRS leaders who are waiting for an opportunity to corner the BJP and TDP in the name of Telangana sentiment grabbed it with both hands.

Dasoju Sravan called for a Pressmeet criticizing Madhav and Lokesh.

And then, KTR tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Madhav, knowingly or unknowingly created a headache for Telangana BJP.

BJP Supporters of Telangana are angry with Madhav.

“What is the use of AP BJP? The party high command better dissolve the party in Andhra Pradesh,” they are angrily saying.
