New Rules in Hyd ORR: Beware!

The famous Hyderabad Outer Ring Road has seen a change in regulations. The new set of rules that were proposed have come to effect from today, July 31.

The speed limit which was locked at 100 KM/H till now has been changed to a slightly higher limit. A total of 120 KM/H is permitted now.

From now on, zigzag movement of the vehicles is strictly prohibited. Every vehicle that intends to change lanes will have to use the relevant indicator without fail.

The fourth lane on the ring road is strictly for moving vehicles. No vehicles should stop on this lane.

No vehicle should stop on their route on the ring road in order to give a lift to other commuters. This action is punishable, according to the new set of regulations.

Two wheelers and by walkers are not allowed onto the ring road henceforth. This was in effect already and will be enforced more sternly from now on.
