As more eyewitness and survivor accounts surface, new angles are emerging in the Kurnool bus accident case. It was initially reported that a bus belonging to Vemuri Kaveri Travels caused the death of a biker, now identified as Shiva Shankar.
Earlier reports suggested that the speeding bus hit the bike, leading to Shiva Shankar’s death. However, fresh evidence and statements from his friend Erriswamy, who was injured in the crash, reveal a different story.
According to the latest version, both men were reportedly drunk and had already been involved in a hit-and-run incident before the bus arrived. Around 13 minutes later, the Vemuri Kaveri Travels bus, moving at high speed, ran over the bike lying on the road and dragged it for nearly 300 metres before it caught fire.
A television channel report indicates that the police are likely to announce their new findings on Saturday evening or Sunday. Based on the updated evidence, the FIR and investigation reports are expected to be modified accordingly.
