BARC released the Ratings of News Channels for Week 2 of 2025. There are no changes in the Channel Positions when compared to last week.
TV9 and NTV are in the first two positions. V6, TV5, Andhrajyothy, and Sakshi are in the next positions in the AP & TS 15+ Age Group Category.
In the same Age Group Category in Hyderabad, TV9, V6, TV5, ABN Andhrajyothy, and NTV are in the Top five positions.
One noticeable name in the list is BIG TV. The channel is in the Thirteenth list. It is in the same position in both the categories.
It is just above non-performing I News and below another such channel BRK News.
Just before the elections, Big TV entered the fray. It is rumored to be belonging to a relative of Revanth Reddy who returned from the US. We do not know if that is true or not.
But the Channel is being a vocal support to Revanth Reddy and the Government Policies. BIG TV is spending huge on the Outdoor Promotions and so this result is a surprise.
It will be disappointing to the Channel Management since the Ratings are also on the same level in Hyderabad as well.
