BARC released the Ratings for Telugu News Channels for Week 1 of 2025.
TV9 is in the first position in the 15+ Age Group in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Channel has been maintaining an unexplainable lead over NTV since the election season.
TV5, V6, ABN, and Sakshi are in the next four positions.
In the same age group category in Hyderabad, TV9 and NTV used to be in the first two positions. But this week, TV5 sprung a surprise by coming to the second position.
TV9 is in the first position and the Telangana-centered News Channel, V6 News falls to the fifth position.
ABN-Andhrajyothy is in the fourth position while 10TV, ETV Telangana, Sakshi, and T News are in fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth positions respectively.
That means Hyderabad audiences are consuming neutral content more than Telangana-centric content.
BRS-owned T News Channel is clearly struggling. In the AP and TS 15+ Segment, it is in tenth position.
Only almost unknown channels like BRK News and I News are behind T-News painting a sorry picture.
In Hyderabad, T News is again in ninth position.
