The ED produced them before the court today. ED’s advocate Joyab Hussain requested the court not to grant bail for Kavitha and asserted that she was arrested as per the law.

After hearing the arguments, the court decided to extend the judicial custody of Kavitha and Kejriwal for 14 more days. They will be next produced in the court on May 7.

Yesterday, even the CBI requested the court not to grant bail for Kavitha because she is one of the primary accused in the case and may also influence the case proceedings if she gets out of jail.

The court reserved the verdict of Kavitha’s bail plea and it will be pronounced on May 2. She was arrested on March 16 by the ED officials in Hyderabad.
