No Building Zone in Krishna delta!

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to announce a ‘No Building Zone’ in a major portion of Krishna delta. In the first phase Master Plan submitted by Singapore government, there are two agricultural zones in and around the capital region which are likely to become the ‘no building zones’ in Singapore.

The Singapore team suggested the idea keeping in view the needs of the people over the next 50 years. The ‘No Building Zone’ idea also exists in Singapore which is reserved for future generations. Nearly 70 per cent of the Krishna delta area will come under this no building zone.

These zone are likely to come up around Nuzividu, Gudiwada, Pamarru and Mylavaram and there will be no permission for any kinds of government and private construction activities there in future. However the state government is giving it a good thought as it may face public back lash with this decision. The move would affect the real estate sector badly and may even result in land prices in other areas shooting up.
