No Commitment On Vishaka Railway Zone

The central government has been tracking back on the Vizag railways zone commitment for a long time now and the latest update is no different story.

When asked about the latest advancement in the prospect of setting up a railway zone in Vizag, the Center came up with an unconsolidated response.

“There’s no fixed timeline for the setting up of Vishaka Railway Zone. We are working on the headquarters that are to be set up the same. We have laid out the blueprint for the project” Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said.

The central government had spent just Rs 7.29 lakh on layout planning, land surveying, and planning of residence for the workers for the year 2022-2023.

The Center has stated that the lang acquisition process for the same could be commencing soon. A detailed report is being prepared for the same.
