No Conspiracy In Kodi Kathi Case: NIA

The controversial Kodi Kathi case was being dragged on and on and on for a really long time now as the suspect Srinivas Rao rots in jail with no movement in regard to the investigation.

Cut to now, the National Investigation Agency has made an affirmative and potentially decisive argument in connection with the case.

The NIA stated “There is no conspiracy in the case. The suspect Srinivasa Rao is not a TDP supporter. There is no trace that this attack had any political or personal intentions. The restaurant owner Harshavardhan also has nothing to do with this.”

The NIA requested the Vijayawada court to dismiss CM Jagan’s case. In response, Jagan’s lawyers asked for more time to file a counter. The next hearing was then scheduled for the coming Monday.

The NIA went on to add now that the court has started investigating the case, there is no need for investigation agencies to carry on with their investigation.

While Jagan’s troops have been arguing that the Kodi Katha attack was a planned assault on him, the NIA has a different story to tell. The top investigation agency has now called for the dismissal of Jagan’s case, which could come as a big jolt to the YCP chief.
