No Corruption Through PD Accounts, GVL Embarrassed

AP BJP Headed by Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao made a huge outcry about a massive corruption by the State Government through PD Accounts. AP BJP Leaders even met the Governor and submitted a memorandum demanding a probe. Public Accounts Committee headed by Opposition MLA, Buggana Rajendranadh Reddy conducted a Probe into it.

After verifying the rationale of opening around 53000 PD Accounts with the Principal Finance Secretary, the Committee said that it is satisfied with the explanation. PAC also withdrew all the objections raised by CAG on PD Accounts and in a way gave a clean chit to the State Government in this issue.

This will be a massive embarrassment for AP BJP and in particular, GVL Narasimha Rao who is spearheading the tirade against the TDP Government. The Clean chit coming from a committee headed by a YSR Congress MLA makes it even Special. It has to be seen what GVL Narasimha Rao says about it.
