No extra service benefits in AP if retired in Telangana!

Andhra Pradesh government had decided to not to pass on the two years extra service benefits to those who retired in Telangana but are allotted to Andhra Pradesh. Finance department had confirmed that they will only take up the employees who report to AP when they are in service in Telangana.

Those retired in Telangana and report to AP for the extra two year service will not be taken. It is known that Chandrababu Naidu government had extended two more years of service to employees in the state but in Telangana, it is not extended.

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to include this in the service rules of employees division to be formulated by Kamalnathan committee. Currently the retirement age in Telangana is 58 while in Andhra Pradesh is 60 years.
